PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES: This role will initially be based in JHB with extensive travel, will relocate to Angola with 30% travel requirements.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:
• Responsible for the overall management of Education projects throughout the lifecycle from project initiation to go-live and support
• Leverage relationships with customer middle management and process owners
• Ensure proper use of methodology, tools and procedures
• Ensure project success (budgets, schedule, quality and business value)
• Escalate problems early to those in the account management role
• Manage and mitigate project risks
• Perform project management coaching to project team members
• Takes responsibility from time to time as team lead and supports respective line manager(s) in people development tasks
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
• Degree in computer science or business administration
• Project Management Training
• Relevant certifications can be found on the Portal: List of Certifications
WORK EXPERIENCE:
• 3 years' experience as Senior Education Consultant or Senior Consultant (Application,
• Technology) with some educational background
• Preferably Portuguese as first or second language
