Nigeria Under-20 coach John Obuh has dropped a strong him that his time as Flying Eagles coach may be over.

Obuh's team lost 1-2 to Uruguay in the round of 16 at the Fifa Under-20 World Cup, and the coach, who is widely expected to be shown the door, does not appear to expect any less.

"Our target at this tournament was not to leave this early, but I hope the next coach will take it from where I stopped," Obuh said.

The coach, who has been criticized for recycling players from his previous iteration, conceded that the country was blessed with loads of talent.

"Nigeria is a football nation blessed with a lot of talent. The players only have to focus and they will be world beaters."
Well I really think it's high time he quit that job cos he's been ineffective in competitions lately. We need a new coach.
