PRIMARY TEACHER REQUIRED: AUGUST 2013
Our school is a fast developing early years and primary school located in Abuja Nigeria, situated in a quiet, peaceful and accessible residential area. At present it is still a relatively small and evolving school which will eventually grow into a fully fledged international school.
We teach the Early Years Foundation Stage and Primary National Curriculum in bright and sunny, spacious classrooms with a variety of learning materials and educational equipment. The outdoor physical environment is designed to promote optimal growth and development through opportunities for exploration and learning.
You will need to be an excellent practitioner who:
• Is passionate about teaching and learning and believes in developing the true potential of all children from a wide range of backgrounds
• Has experience working in an international or multi-cultural setting
• Can plan rich and stimulating learning activities that achieve good progression in pupils understanding
• Has the ability to assess how well learning objectives have been achieved and use this information to improve specific aspects of teaching
• Is an exemplary role model with strong organisational skills
• Has an interest in innovating with ICT
• Is an excellent, engaging communicator who will develop strong relationships with children and parents

This position requires an exceptional individual with energy and vision. A minimum of a BEd or PGCE with experience in early years / primary education using the British curriculum is required.
