Everton on Thursday revealed that new manager Roberto Martinez will be assisted by members of his support staff from former club Wigan Athletic.

Graeme Jones will work as the Spaniard's assistant, with Kevin Reeves appointed chief scout, Inaki Bergara installed as goalkeeping coach and Richard Evans unveiled as head of performance.

The appointments follow the departures of Steve Round, Chris Woods and Jimmy Lumsden, who were released from their contracts on Monday in order to follow ex-Everton coach David Moyes to Manchester United.
Well it's always good to work with people you've been working with before. Martinez will work better that way
