Job Title: Program Director

Responsibilities:
• The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing all programming, including ensuring the technical quality of services.
• The Project Director will work with partners to decide on targets, oversee the development and execution of community action plans and family case plans; monitor the implementation of plans, work with the Executive Director to facilitate operational capacity building initiatives; directly facilitate technical capacity building; and support efforts to coordinate with local government and private sector partners.
• S/he also supports the roll out of and state-level national initiatives intended to improve the technical quality of programming for children affected by HIV/AIDS.
• The Project Director will direct and supervise senior program staff and short and long term technical assistance for the project.
Qualification and Experience:
• The desired candidate must possess at least 10 years of demonstrated experience in designing and implementing OVC activities.
• Candidate must possess demonstrated strong technical and programmatic knowledge and experience in key program areas of training, advocacy and resource mobilization etc.
• S/he must be familiar with International donor funded programs.
• The PO must demonstrate leadership capacity through previous experiences in project management as well as demonstrate capabilities in management, high level strategic visioning, and be familiar with the political, social, economic and cultural context of Nigerian environment.
• A PhD in Health related field will be an added advantage.
