Red Star Belgrade's Serbian under-21 international defender Aleksandar Pantic has joined newly- promoted Villareal on a season-long loan, the Spanish club announced on Sunday.

Pantic, 21, only joined Red Star on a four-year contract last August from FK Rad, where he made his professional debut in 2011.
