Chief of Staff to Rivers State Government House, Mr Tony Okocha, yesterday, said that the emergence of Mr Chibuike Amaechi as governor of the state in 2007 was the handwork of God.
.
Okocha who spoke to newsmen in Port Harcourt, noted that Amaechi becoming a governor of the state was beyond human understanding.
.
He said. "The governorship of Rotimi Amaechi was beyond all understanding because every effort by man failed."
.
He said it was necessary to put the record straight after the allegations made by the Minister of State for Education, Mr Nyesom Wike in several papers last weekend. According to Okocha, Amaechi had a good case, adding that it was why his legal team was able to secure victory at the Supreme Court.
