Super Eagles striker at the just concluded FIFA Confederations Cup in Brazil, Anthony Ujah, has hailed his permanent move to Bundesliga 2 side FC Cologne.
.
The forward was in impressive form in the German second division while on loan from top-flight side Mainz last season, scoring 13 goals in 28 games.
.
He has now secured a permanent move to Cologne, a deal he celebrated on Twitter on Monday, writing on the social media platform: "Finally it's done I'm now a full time FC Cologne player. Thank you Jesus as you walk me through a new chapter in my career."
.
The former Kano Pillars and Warri Wolves player began his European adventure when in 2010 he signed for Norwegian side Lillestrom and made his debut on March 14 against Aalesunds FK.
.
In June 2011, Ujah signed for FSV Mainz 05 in the German Bundesliga where he scored two goals in 12 league appearances, before signing a season-loan deal with FC Cologne in the second division in 2012.
.
In the first game of the season on 3 March 2011, Ujah scored four goals in Lillestrøm's 7–0 victory away to Stabæk, a performance which attracted interest from Dutch giant PSV Eindhoven.
It's always a good thing to have a club to call ur own so I congratulate him. I hope he proves himself there big time. Very good one.
