Attempts by the five anti-Amaechi lawmakers to impeach the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly sparked a free-for-all that left the Leader of the House, Mr. Chidi Lloyd, seriously injured.
It took the intervention of the State Governor, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, who personally stormed the House with some security operatives to stop the move to impeach the Speaker.
