The Finland's World Village Festival holds again this year. The festival will take place in Kaisaniemi Park and Rautatientori in Helsinki and serve up culture from all around the world. The festival will hold on Saturday, 28th and Sunday, 29th of May 2011. Last year, the festival attracted about 70,000 visitors.
The Nigerian-born Tony Allen and Jimi Tenor will perform together at the concert sponsored by HSL. They will perform on the Savannah stage at 6.30pm. Tony Allen is known as a pivotal figure in the evolution of afrobeat. Jimi Tenor from Lahti combines the finest elements of electronic and Afro-American music, jazz and funk in an original way.
