The Regional Centre for Training in Aerospace Surveys (RECTAS) is an Inter-Governmental Organisation established in 1972 under the auspices of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) at Ile-Ife, Nigeria, in 1972 for capacity building in Geoinformatics and related fields. RECTAS is recruiting for the following position(s):
Job Title: Librarian II RP01
Salary Range: $8,701.00 - $13,804.00 per annum
Requirements:
Candidates should be computer literate and should possess a Bachelors Degree with a minimum of second class lower from a recognised University, plus a Post Graduate Diploma in library Studies or extensive training and experience in the field.
The officer will be required to perform the following duties:
a. Working on the selection, evaluation, acquisition and organisation of books and other library materials;
b. Indexing periodicals;
c. Compiling bibliographic and reading list;
d. To carry out such other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Director.
