Title: West Brom Ban Osaze
Post by: Folami David on Jul 12, 2013, 12:01 AM
West Brom have banned Nigerian striker, Osaze Odemwingie, from training with the first-team squad and there is no guarantee that he will fly out to Austria when manager Steve Clark and his side travel on Monday.
.
The Nigerian international has also been ordered to use separate changing facilities following his looming exit from the club.
.
The former Lille of France striker looks on his way out of the Hawthorns as West Brom have recruited former Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka from Juventus and are on the verge of landing another former Chelsea winger Florent Malouda.
.
Crystal Palace have been reported as the most likely destination for the former Locomotiv Moscow striker who is presently training on his own in preparation for top flight football next season.
.
Reports indicate that Odemwingie is close to agreeing a deal at newly-promoted Crystal Palace.
.
The 31-year-old nearly joined Queens Park Rangers in the January transfer window and could now finally get a move to London after meeting Palace chairman Steve Parish on Tuesday.
.
The Premier League new boys are prepared to match Odemwingie's £40,000-per-week contract, which has just a year left to run at the Hawthorns.
.
Eagles boss Ian Holloway is keen to add to his attacking options with striker Glenn Murray sidelined for most of the season and no other experienced alternatives in the squad.
.
Palace are keen on the want-away striker and are said to be considering a £2.5m bid for the Beijing Olympic silver medalist.

West Brom are just fed up of Osaze Odemwingie...I wonder what is delaying his exit from the club cos it's obvious they don't want him anymore.
