***Bayern Munich captain Philipp Lahm has disclosed that the European champions are working hard to implement the ideas of new boss Pep Guardiola. Lahm said that the Spaniard is "fine-tuning" elements of the team's style, but added that the changes are far from sweeping.

***Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is ready to launch a cut-price swoop for Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The volatile Ibrahimovic has fallen out with Paris Saint-Germain boss Laurent Blanc, who was only appointed 18 days ago and seems set to quit the French champions. (The Mirror)
