Job Title: Graduate Trainee

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Employer: Sapphire Investments

JOB DESCRIPTION:

•   Receiving cash, cheques and issuing receipt vouchers.

•   Processing credit card payments.

•   Delivering daily batches to the Accountant.

•   Recording the receipts in the Cashbook on daily basis.

•   Issuing daily reports and cash counts to Financial Manager.

•   Handling all cheque disbursements.

•   Reconciliation of the imprest funds and petty cash handling.

•   Reconciliation of GL with Cashbook on daily basis.

•   Answer telephone inquiries from vendors.

•   Reconciliation of the cheque books.

•   Any other jobs as specified by superior officer.

SKILLS.

•   Computer literacy is a must.

•   In-depth knowledge of operating cash register and cashier procedures.

•   Comprehensive knowledge of simple monetary transactions.

•   Ability to demonstrate high level of accuracy and attention to details.

•   1-2 years experience in a similar position is an advantage but not a must.

QUALIFICATION: B.Sc./HND/OND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration and any other related course from a reputable institution.
