Julius Atete, Proprietor of amateur side, J. Atete FC, has stated that Glo Premier League basement dwellers, Sharks will lose their top flight status this term.

Atete disclosed this to supersport.com after his side lost Wednesday's Federation Cup Round of 32 clash to the Premier League strugglers.

Both teams played a goalless draw, but Sharks eventually conquered the Nigeria Nationwide Division One side on penalties.

"Sharks didn't play good football. I was surprised that a team in the Premier League would waste unnecessarily when playing against an amateur team.

"We came prepared to play good football, but they weren't ready for that and even celebrated when it dragged into penalties. They didn't appear fit and lost energy in the second half.
