Job Title: Head of Boarding and Houseparents

We are seeking a well qualified and experienced applicant to take on the role of Head of Boarding. In addition we ate also seeking experienced Male and Female Boarding Parents.
The Head of Boarding will be responsible for ensuring that students, aged between 10 and 16 years are properly cared for when residing in the Boarding Houses.
We are seeking highly-motivated, responsible, energetic individuals who can: – Create a supportive domestic environment with an academic focus that is in line with the aims and objectives of the school. – Demonstrate excellent communication skills. – Work in loco parentis for the young people in their charge and represent the needs of the students to the wider school, parents and guardians, – Show considerable fortitude, resilience, patience, a well-developed work ethic, awareness of the needs of young people, and maintain a strong sense of humour.
Minimum Qualification: BA/BSc/HND
Applicants should: – All applicants should have prior experience of caring for children, preferably in a school environment – A teaching or nursing qualification will be an added advantage.
These are residential posts and on-site accommodation is provided.
