Enyimba striker Bishop Onyeudo has expressed
delight after scoring his first goal for his new club in
their 1-1 draw at Nasarawa United.

The former Gombe United forward scored the
equaliser to cancel out Victor Namo's opening goal
and generally impressed as The People's Elephant
held out to maintain their unbeaten record since the
start of the second round of the league.

"I am very happy to have scored for Enyimba, and it
is even more satisfying that we were able to pick up
a point from Lafia," he said..

"The fans gave me a rousing reception during my
home debut in Aba against Rangers when I came on
as a substitute, so I'm delighted to return the favour.

"My job is to score goals and I'm glad I have got off
the mark soon after joining the club.
.
"I'm equally happy with the progress we have made
since the start of the second round.
.
"I had said earlier that we would do our best to
qualify for Africa, and we are well on course towards
achieving it."

Onyeudo has scored nine goals in the league this
season.
