Kano Pillars striker, Gambo Mohammed, has expressed frustration over his ouster from the Super Eagles squad that will depart Lagos today for Abidjan for the return leg match of the CHAN qualifiers against Elephants of Cote D' Ivoire.

Mohammed is among six players dropped by team's head coach, Stephen Keshi, as his 18-man squad arrived in Lagos last night for the trip to Abidjan today (Thursday).

"I will not be part of the team for the match because I sustained a hamstring injury before the list was drawn," Mohammed told Complete Sports Wednesday in an emotion laden tone.

"How I feel about not being part of the team for the match in Abidjan? Of course ...you can't expect me to be happy about it but then there's nothing I can do."

"The only thing I can do now is to pray for my teammates to win the match so that all of us can be together again for the championship proper in South Africa."

"Right now, I'm in Kano trying to treat the injury and hoping it will be over before the team returns from the match,"the Kano Pillars forward stressed.
