Digital Jewels Ltd, a specialized Information Technology and Project Management Consulting Firm with focus in Information Security, Information Assurance, Project Management and e-business is offering scholarships to indigent Nigerian undergraduate students.
SCHOLARSHIP BRIEF
CATEGORY 1
Game Changer Scholar for consistently diligent student with 2nd Class Upper Division or its equivalent each semester since University enrollment.
CATEGORY 2
Game Reformer Scholar who has achieved significant improvement in GPA, attitude & outlook since enrollment in the University demonstrated by a GPA point improvement of at least 2.0 GPA, sustained over at least 2 consecutive semesters.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
• IT related course of study. Specifically Computer Science (single or combined degree), Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Applicants should already have spent at least 2 years in a Federal Nigerian University with demonstrable track record either of consistently good performance (Game Changer) or significant improvement (Game Reformer) which should have stabilized over at least 1 session.
• Must be a Nigerian and under 21 years by Sept of application year. Must have English language proficiency (oral & written).
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
• Amount available and tenor is fixed.
• Only 1 person/family will benefit over a 5yr period
• Relations/wards of Digital Jewels staff or partner/associated companies are not eligible to apply.
• Applicants must NOT currently be a beneficiary of any other scholarship scheme
• Quarterly feedback to be sought from Course Adviser.
• Scholarship may be withdrawn where academic performance, attitude & value system fall below stipulated expectation after selection/award.
ESSAY
