FA boss assures Keshi President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Aminu Maigari, has assured coach Stephen Keshi that he would get maximum support to build a solid team that will win next year's CHAN Cup in South Africa.
.
He said that having qualified for the first time, it will be a great experience to do well at CHAN 2014 and the NFF will leave no stone unturned in an effort to achieve just that.
.
"We shall wait for Keshi's programme for CHAN cup and I can assure you that we shall support him to the best of our ability. We shall treat CHAN as one of our top priority for next year. The team will get our full backing," he said.
.
Alhaji Maigari hailed the resilience of the home based boys and their officials in securing a first ever CHAN ticket for Nigeria, adding that it only shows that Nigeria has abundant talents in the domestic league.
.
Asked if he feared that majority of the players that won the ticket for Nigeria would leave for professional stints abroad before the tournament proper in South Africa, the NFF boss said: "We know that some of the boys would leave and that is the reason I said we shall support the coach to unearth more talents to take over. The talents are there for the coaches to work on and prepare them for the task ahead."
That is what they always say an when it is time for them to show support, they don't do anything. Let's hope they do somtin this time around
