Super Eagles handler Stephen Keshi believes that the home-based players who ensured that Nigeria qualified for the 2014 CAF African Nations Championship holding in South Africa next year will keep improving despite losing the away match played in Abidjan last weekend.

The Home Eagles lost 2-0 to the Ivoirians in the return leg but still qualified for the tournament billed to hold next January courtesy of the 4-1 win in the first leg match played in Kaduna.

"We had a good game in Abidjan and the players tried their best. But of course, an away match is always difficult but I am happy that we won the first leg match which actually helped us to qualify for the tournament," says the soccer tactician.

"The boys are improving and I strongly believe that more will still be seen of them. The domestic league is getting better as well and that is helping the players; so we are hoping that the players will get better before the Championship next year."
Let's pray that's the way it would be at the end of the day....Stephen Keshi has always been a good coach so we must believe in him and trust his words.
