Lagos State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, yesterday, dismissed insinuations that the party had been barred from participating in the forthcoming South west zonal congress of the party.
.
It also refuted claims that there was division in the state chapter, saying, "there is nothing like that in our party."
.
At a briefing in Lagos, State Chairman of PDP, Tunji Shelle, said: "We learnt that one Dr. Finnih purportedly presented a fake INEC report to the press sometimes ago. If actually he did, he must have been living in the past.
.
"For the avoidance of doubt, his attention and that of his fellow-travellers are drawn to INEC letters addressed to the National Chairman dated April 2, 2012 giving PDP Lagos a clean bill of health as far as 2012 Congress is concerned.
.
"Our detractors should therefore be sentenced to permanent silence and allow the executive to face the task of delivering Lagos to PDP."
They always deny certain facts until it appears to be true at the end of the day so we are in no way surprised. Let's just wait and see.
