Fresh reports coming out of Italy reveal that Super Eagles midfielder, Onazi Ogenyi will be out of action for about 20 days following the injury he copped on his right knee while playing a pre-season game for his club against Spezia few days ago.

The initial report was that the former My People FC of Lagos startlet will only be out for between 10 to 15 days after undergoing an MRI test with Lazio's Orthopedic Consultant but it has now been confirmed that the talented midfielder will miss both the senior national team's Mandela Challenge showdown against the afana-Bafana of South Africa on August 14 and Lazio's Italian Super Cup encounter versus Juventus on August 18.

Onazi's injury was a relapse of the one he suffered why playing for the Super Eagles in a 2014 World Cup qualifier against the Brave Warriors of Namibia in June which completely ruled him out of the FIFA Confederations Cup in Brazil.

He only returned to the field of play about two weeks ago and has featured in a couple of friendly games just as he expressed his readiness to help Lazio to achieve greater things in the upcoming season.
That would definately be a big flop for his club because he is an important player for them anytime anyday. Injuries just come @ the wrongest times....
