Job Title: Internal Auditor

Reporting to the Head, Internal Audit

Specific Job Roles: – Carry out audit of business units in accordance with International Auditing Guidelines and UACN laid down accounting/auditing policies and procedures and thus form an audit opinion. – Make appropriate and practical recommendations to unit management on lapses noted during audit. – Carry out special investigation/ad hoc assignments as may be required by management. – Assist management in the identification of risks inherent in the business and provide reasonable assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of controls in place to minimize risks.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications:
-B.Sc Accounting/HND Accountancy in addition to a recognized professional accounting qualification (ACA, ICMA, ACCA, CPA etc). . – 6 years post qualification working experience in a reputable manufacturing company. Knowledge of risk and control environments will be essential.
