The Egyptian Football Association have announced
that the Egyptian senior team will now play against
Uganda on August 14 instead of Mali.

"Though many teams asked us to play friendly
matches 'Away', we settled for Uganda whom we
know will test us but also have no fear of coming to
Egypt and face us here." EFA spokesman Azmy
Megahed said to Supersport.com.

"Uganda have accepted all our terms and we will lock
horns in El Gouna in a day game, for the obvious
security reasons" he added.

However trouble is seeming
ly brewing elsewhere as supersport.com has been informed that Bradley and the EFA are having major problems with the two giants Al Ahly and Zamalek (both playing in the ongoing African Champions League) who are adamantly refusing to release their players for the game.

Egypt is using this as a tune up for their match against Guinea while the Cranes are doing the same before their match against Senegal next month.

Both are crucial WC qualifiers.
