Eligibility: To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

-be able to commence full-time in Semester 1, 2014 (by March 31, 2014)

Scholarship Description: The focus of the PhD is to study memristor micro-nano-devices, the fourth circuit element. Memristors hold promise to become the next form of electronic memories, having the potential to store multi-state information. With training, you will be expected to undertake synthesis and characterization of functional thin films and memristive devices.

Selection Criteria: Preference will be given to candidates with:
-demonstrated experience in functional materials, microfabrication, and/or semiconductor device physics
-publications in peer-reviewed and ranked scientific journals.
