Over 7,000 prospective students are scrambling for the 500 slots at the Federal University, Oye Ekiti.

The Vice Chancellor of the university , Prof Isaac Asuzu disclosed this to newsmen at the campus weekend during the 2013 Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination(UTME).

He said it was the policy of the university that all the prospective applicants must write their examination online Azuzu said the university would conduct the examination batch by batch for the remaining one week ,as the institution can boast of having 250 computers.

The VC said the university needs about N1.5 billion to provide facilities in the Faculty of Engineering.

The Professor of Veterinary Medicine, said a committee had been raised to reach out to corporate bodies and international organizations to be able to actualize the target.
