BARING any last minutes change, the newly registered All Progressives Congress, APC, will be holding its national convention to elect the substantive national officers and state executives by January, 2014.
.
Vanguard investigation revealed that the present interim national executive led by Chief Bisi Akande was to stay in office not latter than six months for the substantive executive to be put in place to steer the activities of the party in preparation for upcoming elections in the country.
.
A reliable source in the party told Vanguard on Monday that former national executive members of the three political parties that fused to APC, Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, All Nigeria Peoples Party, ANPP and the Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, will be meeting today (Tuesday) at the party's headquarters, Abuja to deliberate on the setting up structures at the states, local governments and ward levels.
I must just say those in the party are not joking with anything @ all. They are very serious with whatever they are doing currently.
