FOUR persons suspected to be involved in the diversion of petroleum products were, weekend, arrested by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Ebonyi State Command.
.
The four suspects, who were in two trucks loaded with 45,000 and 33, 000 litres of PMS each, were intercepted at Ezzamgbo junction in Ohaukwu local government area of the state by a team of NSCDC personnel.
.
Addressing newsmen, the state commandant of the Corps, Ego Echendu, stated that the suspects were arrested because they didn't have authentic documents to cover their products.
.
She advised petroleum marketers to always equip their staff with necessary documents needed during distribution of products across the country and expressed determination of the command to clampdown on illegal distribution of petroleum products and dubious marketers in the state.
Well things are sensitive right now in Nigeria so it's better to stay away from crime as much as possible. This arrests make sense.
