The Minister of Labour and Productivity, Emeka Wogu has sympathized with the President of the Nigerian Union of Journalist, Mallam Garba Mohammed and the entire NUJ members, over the death of their colleagues at the weekend, describing the accident as unfortunate.
While reacting to the news of the accident which led to the death of the journalists, the Minister stated that: "I received with shock the sudden death of active journalists cut down in their prime ages by the cold hand of death through a ghastly motor accident in Ilesa, Osun State. I share in the pains and identify with NUJ and the families of the deceased in this moment of grief."
The Minister prayed for the repose of the souls of the departed journalists and asked God to grant the family and the entire NUJ members, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
