Prime FC coach, Yekini Ayodeji has said his side will survive relegation at the ongoing 2012/13 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.

With a game left to round off the NNL season the Osogbo-based side are rooted on the 12th spot on the 14-team NNL Division B log on 32 points.

Prime FC will host fifth-placed side, Unicem Rovers in Ibadan on Matchday 30 to close shop for the season. Ayodeji said though his side will survive relegation the outgoing season has been largely a disappointing one compared with past seasons.

"We'll certainly survive relegation this season, we'll end up at 35 points and that will take up away from the drop zone.

"We'll host Unicem Rovers at home that offers us a lifeline to grab three points to stay alive.

"I'm disappointed we struggled throughout the whole season but considering the circumstances we saw ourselves at the start of the season I'm constrained to point accusing fingers on anybody.

"Adequate preparation is the watchword if you must achieve result in football, we never had any form of preparation prior to the commencement of the league.

"We suffered lot of uncertainties, poor recruitment, played all our games at away and to compound the problems virtually our top players were lured away by other financially stable clubs.

"We had a very poor run in the league which I never found myself in or experienced in my coaching career," Ayodeji said to supersport.com.

The Prime FC gaffer is foreseeing a bright future for the 2012 Federation Cup bronze winners next season.

"We're positive everything will be in the right place and direction next season to enable us to reclaim our status as giant-killers.

"We have a world class stadium right now in Osogbo, it will assist us achieve stability unlike this outgoing season we played our games home from away.

"In football there is no replacement for home, no replacement for your home supporters, we missed everything in the season that's going by," he said.
