This Chrome extension blocks the sites you choose once your allotted time is up. For the most distracted, there's the Nuclear Option, which blocks sites completely, with no way to cancel after activation.

- Freedom (http://macfreedom.com/) ($10) — This software for Windows and Mac shuts down the Internet for up to eight hours. Users can set how many minutes of freedom they'd like to enjoy before the networking capabilities are turned off again.
