Our client, an international joint venture company with interest in label printing seeking to expand business scope and position itself for strong profit growth and tremendous patronage in the Nigerian market with the appointment of an experienced professional into the role of:
Business Development Manager
Reports to: The Managing Director
Responsibilities: You will prospect for new clients and produce new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
In this capacity, you will:
• Plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will fetch new businesses
• Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets
• Identify opportunities for campaigns, products and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
• Evaluate customer research, market conditions, and competitor data in order to implement marketing plan changes as needed
• Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new products, services and distribution channels
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Age: 25 – 33 years
• Education: Degree-qualified in any related social science discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years sales experience gained from multinationals and other reputable organizations,
• Proven leadership skills with strong business acumen
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with people from various levels in the organization
• Demonstrate strength in problem solving, defining needs and initiating action to achieve goals
• Mature, resourceful and self-driven with a strong sense of commitment
• Proficient in computer application
