Our client is a strong local company with diversified interests ranging from paints to mining and steel. As part of the company's next level move, a talented professional is required as Accountant.
Reports to: The Managing Director
You will be expected to assume immediate responsibility for the management of the company account and ensure proper book keeping. In this role, you will also be expected to:
• Analyze past and present financial operations and estimates future revenues and expenditures to prepare budget
• Maintain budgeting systems which provide control of expenditures made to carry out activities, such as marketing, production, maintenance, or to project activities
• Liaise with external auditors to facilitate audit processes and other related matters
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Degree-qualified in Accountancy. Membership of relevant Accounting bodies will be an advantage
• A minimum of 3 years experience from reputable organizations
• Strong leadership ability as well as good interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Exceptional character and strong values which can positively impact the team
