Title: Ogun State - Ogun Set To Reclaim Land Illegally Acquired By Speculators--DG
Post by: OgunState on Aug 11, 2013, 10:31 AM
The newly appointed Director General/ Special Adviser to the Ogun State Governor on Land Matters, Mr. Wale Oshinowo, says government would no longer fold its arms and watch land speculators take over its land as plans were underway to reclaim all properties illegally acquired.

Mr. Oshinowo, who stated this while inspecting government land within the Ilo- Awela-Onipanu axis of Ado- Odo/ Ota Local government area of the State, expressed surprise at the level of encroachment on government land and property said no effort would be spared at recovering them.

He therefore warned land speculators who were in the habit of selling government land to unsuspecting members of the public to stop their illegal acts warning that they would soon be brought to justice.

The Director General also seized the opportunity to announce government’s plan to do a comprehensive survey of Ilo-Awela- Onipanu axis of Ado Odo Ota Local government as part of its urban renewal programme.

There are just so many things going on in that state because they're always on the news nowadays. Their governor should work on the development of the state.
