Title: APC Won’t Survive In Edo – Asekhame
Post by: Shola Sholaz on Aug 12, 2013, 12:09 PM
AS the leadership of the newly registered All Progressive Congress, APC, perfects its merger arrangement in Edo State, a chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state, Mr. Dan Asekhame, has said that APC will not survive in the state due to what he described as the controversial conduct of the local government elections in the state.
.
Asekhame, a former council chairman in the state, recalled that the former All Nigerian Peoples Party, ANPP, governorship candidate, Mr. Solomon Edebiri and the leadership of the then Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, disagreed over the result of the elections after Edebiri described same as sham and a rape on the country's democracy.
.
He described APC in Edo State as a union of strange bed fellows, which according to him, will help in the destruction of the party in the state to the advantage of PDP.
.
"The APC-led government has disappointed our people. There is so much hunger in the state, no employment, so we don't see APC offering anything new to our people.

All this speculations about who'll survive and who would not should just stop already cos that is not what they should be discussing now.
