Job Details: – A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced General Manager with a strong Haulage / Road Transport background to work for a leading international logistics company within their operations in the UAE. – The successful General Manager will be responsible for managing and developing the Haulage / Road Transport business in Nigeria.
Responsibilities will include:
• Managing the day to day operations of a busy haulage company in Nigeria
• Look after sales and business development activities
• Key Account Management
• Look at and implement mid to long-term strategies for the company
• Negotiate with customers and suppliers
• Hold P&L responsibilities
• Manage a multi-national workforce
Personal Requirements:
• Must have previous experience of managing Haulage / Road Transport operations
• Previous experience of working in Nigeria and / or West Africa is highly desirable
• Previous management experience is a must
• Previous P&L management experience if advantageous
