Post by: Shola Sholaz on Aug 14, 2013, 07:40 AM
on August 14, 2013 at 3:04 am in News National chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Chief Victor Umeh, has described as laughable the claims by a group that called itself APGA-APC in Enugu, that APGA is part of the merger of political parties that formed the All Progressives Congress, APC.
.
Reacting to the claims through his Special Assistant (Media), Mr. Stan Okeke, the APGA chairman said that such a group and their members were the faceless characters being used to create imaginary division in the party.
.
He explained that when the merger talks were on among the various political parties that metamorphosed into APC, their various parties were led to the merger talks by the leaders of these political parties.
.
According to him, "in this case, who led APGA to such merger talks? Governor Rochas Okorocha joined the group in his personal capacity, and not on behalf of APGA."
