Job Title: Freight Supervisor
Department: Capital Programs Group
Location: Lagos
Job Description:
•Plan for the reception of freight.
•Follow up with Suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure adequate documentation to facilitate clearance and receipts of goods
•Inspect the pre alert received from supplier for completeness
•Maintain a log of all pre alert received and ensure completeness of all documentation
•Compute and monitor custom duty payment request
•Follow up with Finance operation on custom duty payments and ensure necessary documents are signed/authorized
Job Conditions:
• Normal MTN working conditions.
• Extra hours may be required
Reporting To: Shipping & Distribution Manager
Employment Status: Permanent
Required Skills: Minimum four years experience in shipping/import/export environment
Qualification: A tertiary qualification Preferably in Social Sciences
