Voices for Change (V4C): Empowering Adolescent Girls and Women – Nigeria
GRM International is seeking to recruit a Brand and Marketing Adviser for a one year post on UKAID's largest gender empowerment programme – Voices for Change. Through on and offline campaigns, the adviser will be targeting a range of socio-economic groups across Nigeria in order to challenge their perceptions on education, marriage, equality in the work place and violence. These campaigns will need to reach both men and women in order to create the strategic change that is desired.
This is a unique opportunity to work on an ambitious transformational change programme that seeks to create long lasting and systemic change to girls and women across Nigeria. Voices for Change is an innovative programme which requires not only creativity, but experience in how to conduct media campaigns in Nigeria that target a large number of people.
The incumbent will have 10-15 years of experience in marketing and branding and will be skilled in the creation and maintenance of successful brand strategies.
Additional requirements:
• Strong leader and communicator
• Experience of creating multi platform advertising and communication campaigns
• Experience of digital content creation (Video/ Audio/ written word)
• An avid social media user/ Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, Flickr
• An advocate to the value and benefits of a branded and communications approach
The start date for this position will be September/October 2013.
