REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST IN THE MANAGEMENT OF STUDENT HOSTELS
INTRODUCTION
Fountain University is a private University established by Nasrul-Lahi-Il-Fatih Society of Nigeria in May, 2007 and started operating January 2008. The vision of the University is to be a pace-setting institution in terms of learning, character building and service to humanity. Its mission is to produce competent and resourceful graduates with high moral standards.
Its philosophy is the total development of men and women in an enabling environment through appropriate teaching, research and service to humanity, influenced by Islamic Ethics and Culture.
INTEREST IN STUDENT HOSTELS
The University runs a fully Residential Policy for all Undergraduate students as one of the ways to achieve its vision and mission. The University presently has two Hostels each for Male and Female students. In line with its policy of outsourcing non-core academic functions of the University, the Governing Council is interested in engaging the services qualified Firms and Islamic Religious Organizations to manage the Hostels by providing competent personnel that will serve as Hall Master in strict compliance with the vision and mission of the University. Such firms/organizations are required to have personnel that are educationally competent and possess sound Islamic education training background. Such personnel must be morally sound and must command respect of students in words and deeds.
EXPRESSION OF INTEREST DOCUMENT
Interested persons, Firms and other Organizations with track record in this area are free to call on any day of the week to inspect the facilities and are requested to submit the following documents with their letters of expression of interest in wax sealed envelopes to:
THE REGISTRAR, FOUNTAIN, UNIVERSITY, P.M.B. 4491, OSOGBO
(i) Registration of Company with the Corporate Affairs Commission.
(ii) Management /Financial proposals for managing the Hostels
(iii) Evidence of educational qualifications/Experience of the Promoters of the Firm/Organization.
(iv) Reference letter from a reputable Religious Leader/eminent Citizens.
(v) Corporate profile and evidence of technical capability and verifiable evidence of similar experience in the past.
(vi) Registration with Fountain University, Osogbo
