Job Title: Customer Care Officer

Location: Abuja, Nigeria

Job Purpose: Serves customers by providing product and service information; resolving product and service problems.

Job Duties:

•    Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services.

•    Opens customer accounts by recording account information.

•    Maintains customer records by updating account information.

•    Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.

•    Maintains financial accounts by processing customer adjustments.

•    Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.

•    Prepares product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.

•    Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Education: Minimum OND

Mandatory Skills:

•    An in-depth understanding and experience of the operations of a Customer Care Division

•    A minimum of two years relevant work experience in the customer care area

•    Excellent communication & interpersonal skills – both verbal & written which will enable you to deal with external and internal parties in a professional manner, developing solutions and communicating these across the organisation as efficiently as possible

•    Make recommendations in relation to resolutions of customer issues.

•    Possesses self-management skills and the motivation

•    Handle routine work with limited supervision

•    Can demonstrate customer service orientation

•    Demonstrates Leadership potential

•    A positive attitude towards their work

•    Willingness to work as part of a team
