Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Delta / Lagos State, Nigeria  

Employer: Indigenous Exploration and Production Company

Recruiter: Human Leadership Resources

Responsibilities:

•   Responsible for procurement of goods and services required for effective and efficient running of the organisation and in fulfilment of best practices

•   Analyze the purchase request from the user departments and determine the appropriate method of procurement, quotation , tender and request for proposal

•   Work with staff, vendors and technical experts in preparing specifications for quotations, tenders, proposals and supply agreements in a clear and concise manner

Competencies:

•   Widespread knowledge of procurement, buying strategies, Commercial & Contracts in the Oil & Gas industry

•   Possess negotiation, interpersonal, organizational and sourcing skills

Requirements:

•   BSc in Business, Commercial or Engineering discipline with a minimum of 2.1

•   3 – 5 years experience with a least 2 years experience preferably in the Oil and Gas industry

•   Experience using SAP will be an added advantage
