Job Title: Captain

Description:
• Provide marine command responsibility and support in ship's marine operations supervising operations, equipment and auxiliaries, ensuring compliance with operating procedures and maintenance requirements and international maritime regulations.
• Oversee local maintenance and repairs of ship's equipment.
• Liaison with shorebased staff and maritime authorities as conditions dictate, and other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications:
1. Prefer College Degree Maritime Deck Transportation or equivalent.
2. USCG Master Unlimited Tonnage of Steam and Motor Vessels License or equivalent.
3. Command experience as a ships master on unlimited tonnage vessels.
4. Excellent leadership, communication and management skills.
5. Computer skills in information systems and computer control consoles.
6. Experience with Dynamic Positioning Systems and Basic and Advanced DP simulation preferred.
7. Experience in the use of on board stability programs.
8. Experience in marine environmental and hazardous material regulations and procedures.
9. Experience in offshore marine operations, industrial environment, and drilling operations.
