Flames coach Tom Saintfiet said he is hopeful that the friendly match against Botswana will go ahead despite reports that the Zebras have arranged another strength- testing match against Uganda.
.
The Flames are scheduled to face Botswana on September 3 in Gaborone, but SuperSport reported that they are also scheduled to host Uganda's Cranes next Saturday (August 31).
.
However, Saintfiet said it is possible that the Zebras are planning to play two international friendly matches before they face South Africa's Bafana Bafana in a 2014 World Cup qualifier.
.
"Initially, they [Botswana] wanted us to play on August 31 because they have a special functions to officially open a stadium, but due to time factor, we negotiated and agreed that it should be played on Tuesday [September 3].
.
"So, unless there are any changes, I am hopeful that the match is on," he said.
