RECRUITMENT AND TRAINING OF OPERATIONAL STAFF
In order to meet our standard of providing top class service to our esteemed clients, we thoroughly vet all our newly recruited personnel and all the recruitment exercises are carried out under very strict and serious atmosphere that meet the international security standard (ISS). All recruits are given a mandatory minimum of two months basic training in effective security duties before being assigned to their various posts.
To meet our vision of training of our personnel, we have first class training school in Lagos and Asaba. Most of our recruited and trained operatives are able-bodied retired Police and Armed Forces Personnel. Quarterly refresher courses are also organized for them to meet the various needs of our clients.
STAFF CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
The company's staff welfare is given adequate attention by management. Salaries are paid promptly as at when due, several welfare schemes are arranged for staff to motivate them. An insurance welfare scheme is in place to take care of death or disability while on duty and retirement benefits when an employee is retiring from the company. It is the belief of the company's management that dedication and loyalty can best be obtained from workers when they are properly taken care of, especially in a sensitive job like security.
As the provider of security services is a high–risk business, Olasco Company Nigeria has various types of insurance policies in place to indemnify our numerous service personnel and clients against various types of risks and hazards:
BASIC REQUIREMENTS FOR PERSONNEL
MEN: At least5' 6" (1.71 Metres)
WOMEN: At least 5' 4" (1.65 Metres)
QUALIFICATIONS: SSCE OR WASC
AGE: 25 years and above
EXPERIENCE: Law enforcement or security experience a plus
