Description:
• This position is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining Software leveraging all points in the software development life cycle.
• The ideal candidate will work as part of a team in an Agile environment to develop and test software systems.
• The candidate must be comfortable working across all layers (UI, business logic and data) of a web application.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create work estimates and software development tasks based on work items submitted by the software product manager for the implementation of new or the modification of existing software product functionality.
• Create work estimates and software development tasks based on defect items submitted by the QA engineer.
• Design, implement and maintain graphical user interfaces
• Design, implement and maintain critical business logic
• Design, implement and maintain databases
• Follow established coding standards
• Unit test code
• Document code
Basic Qualification & Tech Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or a minimum of 3 years delivering commercial quality software.
• Minimum 2 years experience developing web applications using Visual Studio .NET 2008/2010, Javascript, HTML, CSS and the Microsoft .NET framework (ASP.NET & C#)
• Minimum 1 year experience working with Javascript libraries especially MochiKit and JQuery
• Minimum 2 years experiece applying the T-SQL implementation and configuring Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008.
• Minimum 1 year experience working in an subversion (SVN) version control environment
• Minimum 1 year experiene implementing automated software builds using Nant
