Ex-international, Friday Ekpo, says he feels happy that Super Eagles and Chelsea of England star Victor Moses was not shipped to a 'small club' in England after the former Wigan star sealed a loan deal with Liverpool FC yesterday.

Moses who won the Europa League with the Blues last season seemed not to be in the plans of Jose Mourinho who made a return to the former UEFA Champions League winner last June after spending some seasons with Real Madrid in Spain.

"When I heard that Mourinho does not have plan for Moses this season; I was disturbed but with the latest move to Liverpool, I can say it was a good decision because a player of that calibre cannot be staying on bench in any club. So it was a good move and I must confess that it was not a bad move at all ,"says the former Wigan star.

"I wish him all the best and I am one of the few Nigerians to say that Moses will be a big, big and very reliable player at Anfield."

Ekpo however enjoined Nigerians to support and pray for the Super Eagles star who was reported to have signed a loan deal worth N258m with Liverpool and this will make him the first Nigerian to play for the Anfield warlords.
In my opinion, l think the loan deal of Moses to Liverpool is not a bad idea, because i don't think Chelsea coach has a place for him in his squad for the 2013/14 season.
Liverpool is also a good english club that can serve as a platform for Victor Moses' football career, he'll still flourish!
