Lokomotiv Moscow forward, Obinna Nsofor wants an emphatic win for Nigeria in Saturday's 2014 Fifa World Cup qualifier against Malawi at the UJ Esuene Stadium.

The 26-year-old, who has earned 44 caps for the Super Eagles, is one of the most experienced members of the squad and he has warned that complacency is something that must be avoided if maximum points are to be amassed.

"People may say Malawi is not a big footballing country but it no longer works that way in modern football. We must not underrate them if we want to win and a victory is important for our hopes of qualifying for the World Cup next year," Nsofor exclusively told supersport.com on Wednesday.

The forward recently made a return to the national team after a brief absence by featuring in the Nelson Mandela Challenge against South Africa in August.

He expressed his delight at making a return to the squad.

"I am happy to be back. I feel a lot of pride playing for Nigeria.
