Obinna Nsofor is excited about his return to the Nigeria squad and says his objective is to win against Malawi and help Nigeria qualify for next year's World Cup.

A combination of injuries and a dip in form have kept the effervescent forward out of the Super Eagles set up under Stephen Keshi.

But he was recalled for the Nelson Mandela Challenge last month, and showed enough to earn a recall.

Now, the 26-year-old Lokomotiv Moscow forward says victory is non negotiable.

"We all know the importance of this game, and we won't leave anything to chance," he said.

The build-up to the match has been dominated by verbal warfare between both sides, but Nsofor insists that the players are simply focused on matters on the pitch.

"We are not concerned about what they are saying.

We just want to focus on our own game plan. We are here to win and not talk about Malawi.

"They can say whatever they want to say, for us what is important is to win the game on Saturday," he added.
